- Ancient Voices – Sara Hessel Schneider is a friend from uni. She likes early music. Me too. She makes radio about it. I listen.
- Bands/Artists I like include the Decemberists, Sarah Jarosz, and Seth Lakeman. Yup, a little folksy. I also like tons of other artists. Guess who. (New suggestions are always welcome.)

- Gail Cali, Doodler Extraordinaire – Gail is wonderful. She is an art student in Atlanta, US, and this is what she does when the teachers aren’t looking.
- My Line of Words – A website by my dear friend S who lives in California, US. She hasn’t posted in a while but I hope she’ll pick it up again. Visit, and maybe we’ll convince her.
- Paperfaerie – I’m a bit of a paper enthusiast but only low-key. Paperfaerie has it down to perfection. Check out what she can do with paper. It’s amazing.
- Shelly Bedsaul – I have a few pieces by Shelly in my house. She is an artist who seems to take few things seriously, but her art.

- Emily drinking Tea – An American in… Cambridge. Love how she writes about her cooking. Also quite a lovely person to meet.
- Roast Chicken and Red Wine – Serious foodie stuff. I am most definitely not one but I do like reading from people who are passionate about something. (Well, not anything.) Luc likes his food.

- The Mompetition – A very healthy view on parenthood from a fellow twins-mother. She stopped posting new videos but the ones she already put up are so funny and spot-on that you may want to (re)visit.
- Instructables – Instructables has the craziest, weirdest, nuttiest but also most useful how-to’s on the web. It is worth it to sign up for the newsletter because you get the most astonishing things in your mailbox. Fire-breathing animatronic pony! Go on, you’ve always wanted to build one…

Hey, I’ve just realised, reading some of your older posts, that you’re Dutch! My hubbie and I lived for a bit in Den Haag, and then Utrecht, and then Rotterdam for 2.5 years. Loved it!
So I am.
